Organising a 150 guest wedding, can be a challenge, especially when you have the guests coming from all around the world! Many of them, have had their own weddings organised abroad, and have travelled a lot. So, for our couple Anouska & Roddy, we needed the venues that will exceed all the expectations and venues that were seen before. And… no doubt about that, We had them!
When Anouska & Roddy booked their wedding with us, over a year before the wedding itself, we have been going through different scenarios and venues, but at the end, their hearts were set on Dubrovnik old town, and the maginificent Sponza Palace. No wonder, as it is located at the very heart of the old Dubrovnik town, so once saying I do, they took the opportunity to walk through the ancient old town and get some amazing images recorded for life!

The fact that the town is by the sea, Anouska & Roddy have decided for us to add a proper Wow effect, by hiring a pirate ship, that actually is a Galleon which had waited the guests, at its, by nature designed old town port, also used for the ships to dock during the past. As the guests were cruising and indulging the food and drinks on board, they had the opportunity to see the city walls from the sea side, and in fact get the full visual of the old town of Dubrovnik fort complex.
The Galleon
The cruise took them to the island of Kolocep, locally known as Kalamota, to one of the most stunning and romantic restaurant settings on the Adriatic, Villa Ruza. Being situated at the very peak of the island, hidden by the pine trees, the night became very bright and festive, as we had created, at the moment when the sun has set, a special effect, by placing hundred of fairy light around the trees surrounding the terrace. The ambience, the sunset, the emotions, the food, the drinks, the late party …everything was perfect and as imagined.
As the night was closing down, the couple jumped into their speedboat and as they were greeted by the guests from the terrace..I will never forget the words many of the guests shared with me that night; “This experience was beyond amazing!” So a Big Yes, we can exceed!
